The Crankshaft Kit 25092 (6-Bolt Flange) fits Ford & Mercury vehicles with the 4.6L V8 engine, model years 1996-2004. Applications include the Ford Mustang, Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, Ford E-150 Econoline, Ford F-250, Mercury Marauder, Ford Crown Victoria & Mercury Grand Marquis.
Verify Before Ordering: 6-Bolt Flange
This crankshaft has 6 threaded mounting holes in the rear flange, where the flywheel (manual transmission) or flexplate (automatic transmission) attaches.
Before ordering, count these holes on your existing crankshaft. Count only the flywheel/flexplate attachment holes, not the clutch or torque converter bolts.
If your existing crankshaft has 8 mounting holes, see part 25098 and confirm its application details. Year, model, and engine size alone may not distinguish these versions.
Unsure which version you need? Contact us with your vehicle information, crankshaft casting number, and a clear photo of the rear flange.
